Rajasthan Government has launched a new digital communication platform called e-Swasthya Samvad, aimed at strengthening governance, transparency and coordination in the state’s medical education system. The initiative reflects Rajasthan’s push towards technology-driven reforms to improve healthcare delivery and administrative efficiency.

The platform has been introduced under the direction of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Medical Education Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar.

Principal Secretary (Medical Education) Gayatri Rathore said that e-Swasthya Samvad will function as a dedicated digital interface connecting all stakeholders.

Structured Interactions Twice a Week
Medical Education Commissioner Naresh Goyal stated that the platform will operate twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, through video conferencing.
Two-Phase Interaction Model:
- Phase 1: Principals, medical superintendents, PMOs and heads of departments
- Phase 2: Faculty members, doctors, nursing staff, students and the general public
This structure ensures both administrative review and grassroots participation.
Grievance Redressal and Accountability Mechanism
The platform will facilitate discussions on:
- Budget announcements
- Chief Minister’s Office directives
- Grievance redressal through CMIS and CP-Grams
- Implementation of health schemes
- Infrastructure development and equipment procurement
- Routine operational issues
Stakeholders can submit issues in advance through online forms. Decisions taken during meetings will be recorded instantly, and concerned officials must submit action-taken reports within 72 hours, strengthening accountability.
