The 10th edition of the International Gita Festival has begun in Kurukshetra, Haryana, marking the start of a three-week spiritual and cultural celebration. Expanding International Presence

Since it began in 2016, the International Gita Mahotsav has grown into a global celebration, with events held in countries like:
Mauritius, Britain, Canada, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Japan.

This year, 51 countries are participating.
A three-day International Gita Seminar will be held from 24 November at Kurukshetra University, featuring 25 scholars from 16 countries.

Special participation includes:

• Priests from Fiji and Trinidad & Tobago
• Craft artisans from 7 different countries

Cultural and Devotional Events

From 24 November to 1 December, large-scale cultural events will be held at Purushottampura Bagh, inspired by:

• The Bhagavad Gita
• Mahabharata
• Teachings of Lord Krishna

  • Gita Shobha Yatra on 1 December
  • Deepotsav across 182 pilgrimage sites in Kurukshetra
  • Student competitions (28–30 November):
  • shloka recitation, essay writing, painting, rangoli
  • Gita Book Fair at Brahma Sarovar featuring publishers from all over India
